River community plants lilac train labyrinth at RTSRC event
A Sept 23 media planting day at Rivers Ag Society grounds drew students and residents to mark a milestone for the Rivers Train Station Restoration Committee. Land is prepped for lilac trees forming a train and cow catcher labyrinth, with an RV park planned. Community members enjoyed burgers and cookies as RTSRC chair Donna Morken outlined heritage driven growth.
