Sundance site ready for visitors near Riding Mountain
Farmers Advocate notes a half way stop between McCreary and Alonso, 25 km east of Riding Mountain National Park, where the Sundance ceremonial site offers interpretive trails, signage, and a four day rite. Local elders helped develop the site with support from Ebb & Flow. Manitoba Hydro’s Spirit of the Earth Award honors the project. The area preserves natural habitat and offers maps in Manitoba Naturally.
