Community mural opens in Rapid City with student art
Louise MacDonald and Jodi Hrymak led Rapid City Elementary in a 18 month plan to integrate art across grades. Manitoba Arts Council grant and Midwest Arts Council expertise aided the mural on the RM of Oakview building east wall. 89 students toured town, created clay family trees, a board game, diorama boxes, and photo sketches now displayed beneath a mural titled I Spy.
