Frank Robbins In Accident On Sibley Street
Frank H. Robbins Jr of Dalton was seriously injured Sunday evening when his motorcycle hit a Cadillac on Sibley street near Lincoln Avenue. He required 15 stitches for abdominal wounds, a broken nose, and a cut lip. he was moved to Calumet City hospital and was improving by Tuesday.

Mrs OConnor Resigns From Dalton Riverdale Exchange
Mr and Mrs Charles OConnor and family plan to move to Chicago on Saturday October 1 and reside at 7917 Throop Street. Mrs OConnor has been manager of the Dalton Riverdale Telephone Exchange for five years and resigns for health reasons after 23 years in the work. A Plano woman will be temporary manager. Ernest Neath Dies Suddenly in West Pullman Home
Ernest Neath of West Pullman father of eight died suddenly at 11615 Lafayette Avenue. He worked at the Pullman Works and had grown up in Dalton before settling here. One son drowned in the Calumet River on September 8. Funeral arrangements were not announced at press time.
