Little League Picnic At Riverdale Park Sunday
The Dalton Riverdale Lie Teague club will host its annual picnic on Sunday at Riverdale Park. All Little League Abmor League members and families are invited along with supporters. It is a family pay event with each bringing lunch. Cards will be mailed to each boy’s family and exchanged for tickets for pop and ice cream. The event begins at 1 PM with games and races for all ages and prizes for winners. Mrs Maria Thompson chairs the committee and invites everyone to close the Little League season with a fun gathering.

Car Stolen at Almar Plaza in Dolton
Mrs. Clark of 14819 Irving Dolton reported to Dolton police on Tuesday August 30 that her car was stolen from the Almar plaza lot at 155th and Cottage Grove. The car was recovered the next day. Also on September 2 at 5 32 pm the car of William J. Roberts of 14928 Grant Dolton was damaged in an accident by an armored truck driven by Patrick J. Framey of 7143 S Carpenter Chicago. No one was injured. Refreshments served by Mr and Mrs L J Wahler and Mrs Olive Higgens.
