The Madison Eisenhower PTA of South Holland held a November meeting at Madison School with President Mrs. Mar tip Mulder presiding. Reports covered fundraising completion for 1960-61, a Christmas pageant “Christmas Around The World,” and plans for a Team Mothers Tea. Brownie Troop sponsorship was approved, and superintendent Kingsland praised hot lunches as district enrollment reaches 1802 with four schools and 67 teachers.

Charles Fritz says a 14 foot clay wall will be built by spring while burning shifts to wood and paper and refuse buried. Village officials report fines totaling $1000 and an injunction sought by Chicago. Dolton squad aided Pauline Gregory with oxygen at 240 E 142nd St.
Riverdale police report two tires wheels and hubcaps stolen from a station wagon owned by Hedda Soulib from 12008 Vernon Chicago. The vehicle was parked in the Acme Steel lot on Wednesday November 2.
Alice Hanschmann Canty, a Riverdale native and Bowen School District 133 graduate, joins the district's new server-man board of education. She holds a B S Ed from Illinois State Normal University and a Master’s from Columbia, with further study at the University of Chicago. She taught mathematics and physical education in Danagiac and later at Thorn ton Township High School.
Dolton police invite the public to a Policemen's Ball at the Calumet City Legion Hall on Golf and Ruth streets Saturday night November 25. Tickets are one dollar from any officer or at the police station and music by Menri Butell will provide dancing pleasure.
Riverdale merchants and officials protested Dolton's no parking ordinance for Indiana avenue at a Dolton board meeting. Attorneys delivered protest letters from Riverdale Chamber of Commerce and Yvanhoe Business Association as Dolton officials defended the policy and cited parking investments. The matter was referred to the police and fire committee for investigation at the next meeting.
