Stolen Dodge Recovered After Dolton Encounter
Two colored men James Moore and Bert Williams drove a stolen Dodge coupe into Twin City Garage Dolton for repairs. They were spotted with a 1926 license plate by Joe Locher and detained by Chief Klaege who notified Chicago police. The car owner Ingraham Davis reported the theft Monday afternoon. The pair confessed after questioning and were taken to County jail with Chicago police on Tuesday afternoon.

Oscar Anderson, sick for months with stomach trouble and just released from the County hospital, bought safety razor blades, then cut his throat and slashed his wrists on a vacant Highlawn lot. He walked to Fred Heinke's, was treated by Dr. Kollar, and Chief Decklar before ambulances transported him to the County hospital.

Runaway Team Spooks South Holland Streets Near Pointer Office
A team of horses owned by Izaac Shilling of South Holland bolted on Tuesday morning after hearing a truck load of angle iron. The driven by one of his workmen, the team crashed along Leyden and Indiana avenues with both animals down near a fruit store. Plumber Tony Basile narrowly avoided collision with a telephone pole while trying to dodge the runaway. The episode drew many locals as a rare real runaway scene. A lost gold ring with three red stones is listed with reward for return.
