Frank Monahan of Monahan Bros. contractors building the Dol lou sewer system suffered a severe arm injury when his right arm was caught in a chain conveyor on a large dredging machine. Emerine led a group bidding $8300 after starting at $4000, with junk and secondhand dealers invited to bid if the sale continued.
