Ivanhoe P. T. A. to Install 1943 44 Officers
The Ivanhoe Parent Teacher Association will install its 1943 44 officers at the next regular meeting on Tuesday May 18 at 1 30 p m at Roosevelt School. Elected are Mrs Stanley Steinke president Mrs Albert Heine vice president Mrs F Mueller secretary Mrs Clifford Holtgren treasurer and Mrs H Howe historian Mrs Clarence Brown a past president will perform the installation. Past presidents and mothers of first graders entering school in the fall will be honored guests with hostesses named.

Miss Evaline M. Doeing presented piano pupils at Mrs. McCarthy's home 532 Washington Dalton Wednesday May 12. Lois Nelson sang. pupils included Patricia Steinke Dolores Diekman Barbara Lane Steve Marek Raymond Rickert Barbara Steinke John Tippett Ruth Mayerak Edward Albrecht Grace Alt. Doeing won the Bertha Ott award in the April 3 Society of American Musicians contest in Kimball Hall earning a debut recital in 1948 44 season. Judges were Dr Arthur Becker Dr Edward Eigenschenck William Groom. She belongs to the Illinois Chapter of the American Guild of Organists and the Van Dusen Organ Club of Chicago.
