Jaycees To Elect Officers In Dalton Junior Chamber Start
The Dalton Jaycees held their first meeting March 18 to organize the Dalton Junior Chamber of Commerce. About 350 men attended as Blue Island Jaycees explained the group’s purpose and steps toward state and national affiliation. A temporary funds committee will plan fundraising. next meeting is March 28 at the Dorchester Club to elect first year officers.

More than 200 science projects from Thornton students will be on display tomorrow night from 6 to 9 in the Thornton cafeteria. Projects will be judged 6 to 7:30 by a team of scientists from industry and education with criteria including originality accuracy and presentation. Public viewing follows 7:30 to 9.
