Dalton Police Warns on Loose Dogs and Tag Rules

Thomas H. Lee 59 Dies After Prolonged Illness in Dalton
Thomas H. Lee, aged 59, died at his Dalton home after more than a year of illness. Born in London on September 7, 1876, he moved to Canada at age 11 and later to Chicago in 1900 to work for the Chicago & Eastern Illinois railroad, becoming an engineer in 1904. He lived 37 years in the area, married Agnes Emma Sanderson in 1905, and is survived by his widow, two daughters Burnette and Eleanor, siblings, and three grandchildren. He helped organize Doldale lodge No. 113 I O O F and served as secretary‑treasurer of Division No. 613, B of L E F. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. at Dalton M E Church, with Rev. E. E. Thompson and Doldale lodge officiating. Interment at Oaklawn cemetery.

William Lembcke, 15 months old, son of Mr and Mrs Albert Lembecke of Dalton, was taken to St Francis hospital Blue Island on Sunday March 20 for lunge infection after bronchial pneumonia. William is very ill but expected home Saturday. A kitchen shower honored Miss Ruth Reich at the home of Miss Ruth Stutzheim on March 6 with 16 friends, gifts, games and luncheon.
