Ivanhoe Jr Women Launch Drive for Misericordia Home
The Ivanhoe Junior Woman's Club plans a March drive to benefit Misericordia Home, a 1921 foundation for unwed mothers later repurposed in 1934 as a home for mentally retarded infants. Tenants range from 3 months to 3 years, with fifty nine children in residence. Items needed include diapers clothes baby food and toys.
