Wallace William Tourtellotte son of Mr and Mrs N M Tourtellotte of 11 E 138th street Riverdale was awarded an M D from the University of Chicago Medical School on June 15. He studied at the university since graduating Thornton Township High School in 1942 earned two bachelor degrees in 1945 and spent nine months in the Naval V 12 program.

PhD Pharmacologist Joins Navy After Internship
Dr. Tour Tellotte, 26, earned a PhD in pharmacology at 23 and has taught pharmacology for two years while working for the Atomic Energy Commission. He authored 17 scientific papers and will intern July 1 at Strong Memorial Hospital Rochester before entering the Navy Medical Corps as a lieutenant junior grade.
