Our Savior's Church To Hold 40th Anniversary
Our Saviors Lutheran Church of Riverdale plans a 40th anniversary reception after Sunday worship on June 14 at 12 30 pm with a program including readings, musical solos, and slides. Guests will include new and charter members and honored early leaders. Tickets for a buffet dinner are 75 cents for adults and 45 cents for children 11 and under. sale ends June 12.

The Religious Education committee of Ivanhoe Reformed Church plans a Daily Vacation Bible School at 14242 Wabash Avenue from 9 30 to 11 30 a m June 16 through June 27. A staff of teachers will lead Bible centered curriculum crafts songs and choruses for children aged five and up to attend.

PANOZZO SON CALLS HOME FROM GERMANY DURING FURLOUGH

Son of Dalton Couple Promoted in Valley Forge Crew
Christ L. Konow USN, son of Mr and Mrs Chris U Konow of Dalton, advanced to aviation ordnanceman third class aboard the carrier Valley Forge. The ship on its third Korean tour returned to the zone on December 11 1951 as planes struck Communist supply routes from Manchuria to the front.
