Riverdale Village Boards Votes to Sell Fire Horse

Trustees Ludwig Brandt Trapp and DeRidder supported the motion while Goos and Niemeyer opposed it. It remains unclear whether the majority of local taxpayers will approve the decision.

A 21 year old man, Virgin Krueginck, departed after firing at his wife and baby from a window on 13751 Illinois street, Riverdale. He then shot himself in the temple and died. His wife escaped unhurt. the infant survived. Police and coroner notified. he worked as a bookkeeper at Seipp Brewing Co. in 26th street.

John Voss of Lansing Dies After Illness at 45
John Voss of Lansing died Sunday January 14 after a seven week battle with throat cancer. He was 45, leaves a wife and four children, ran a local saloon for several years, and was well known across southern Thornton Township.
