August Volbrecht Obituary in Thornton Neighborhood
August Volbrecht died Monday January 2 at Ingalls Memorial hospital at age 63 years 10 months 2 days after a throat ailment turned cancerous. A bachelor resident of the Thorn Creek area he lived on the family homestead for nearly 70 years and died leaving three brothers and a sister. Funeral services were held Thursday at 1 30 PM at the house with interment at Oak woods cemetery Chicago.
