Milton M. Gess of 14504 Lincoln Ave Dolton died Tuesday morning August 25 at 8 46 in Ingalls Memorial Hospital Harvey after a period of illness from diabetes. Born December 18 1909 in Dolton he studied at Thornton Township Junior College and Armour Institute of Technology earning an A average in electricity. He is survived by his parents and many relatives. Funeral from his Dolton home at 2 30 this afternoon with Rev Walter J Kemnitz officiating. Interment Oakland Cemetery Bachmann Funeral Home in charge.
The Boy Scouts of the Pottawatomi Trails Council return from their first summer at Camp Waters on an island in the St. Joe River near Buchanan Michigan. Troop 2 led by Dalton Marvin Wesse earned awards in angling rowing machinery masonry surveying. Troop 1 Riverdale with Jack Finnerty George Kingsland Mills Tourtellette received safety painting rowing and multiple skill badges.

August 21 Donna Poss of 14129 Dearborn celebrated her ninth birthday with friends at home. Guests included Dolores Fransen Joyce Rhode Wilma Helen Craig Gwendonlyn Pratt Gloria Grenwall Betty Davidson Patricia Byrnes Donna Poss and Buddy Poss. Donna received many gifts.
