Dalton trustees opened bids for 700 feet of property on 143rd Street near Piscateers Inc. Only one bid of 20000 from Piscateers Inc. was accepted to fund uptown parking. The village had paid 22000 two years earlier for 56 acres in the area and leases lake use to Piscateers for 3700 yearly. Planning commission set September 6 to discuss rezoning for thirteen multiple dwellings on Chicago Road and for a convalescent home on Blackstone Avenue. Building permits issued this year show 125 homes 140 garages 166 property improvements and 13 miscellaneous structures with increases in valuation.
