Cullen Dolton Park Commissioner and License Inspector for Dolton who died suddenly last Sunday at St. Francis Hospital Blue Island He is survived by his wife Wilma four daughters one son three sisters and a grandson A World War II veteran and member of VFW Post 3564 and American Legion Post 303 he supported the Vigilant Party and was known as a musician whose organ music enlivened Dalton events

Spider Bite Victim Begins Slow Recovery in Hospital
Mrs. Howard Larsson of South Holland remains at Passavant Hospital seven weeks after a brown recluse spider bite at home. She gave birth to her sixth child, a daughter, one day after the bite with the infant unharmed. Mrs Larsson continues treatment and skin grafts on the bitten leg. her husband expects her to be released in about two weeks. The brown recluse is not native to the area and likely came from elsewhere.
