Dolton Trustees discussed the proposed rezoning east of Greenwood road for slaughterhouse use and backed allowing Brown Packing to modernize its plant to alleviate objections. The writt en recommendation will go to the Cook County Zoning Board in Harvey for review alongside protests from other municipalities and residents. The board also plans bids for oil and crushed stone to repair Sheridan Avenue and to study Sanderson Avenue drainage and surfacing.
