The Churches reflect on Easter Sunday as the Lord’s Day and the resurrection. A reunion service is set for April 28 at 7:30 p.m. Sunday school begins at 9:30 a.m. and members, especially the youth, are urged to attend. services have been well attended recently.
Our Savior's Community Church in Wabash lists three Easter morning services at 6:00 9:00 and 11:45 with a 10:30 service for new members to withdraw before communion. An Easter program by Sunday School pupils is at 7:30 p m. Loyalty Day is set for the last Sunday in April. Pastor Herman Keiter invites all church members to commune.
Easter Sunday events include Confirmation class at 9:00 a m, church school Easter program at 10:00 a m, worship at 11:00 a m with An Easter Doxology, 4:00 p m Easter cantata by the choir, and a 6:45 p m joint Epworth and Hi-Leagues service in the Sanctuary led by Pastor Ernst Coleman.
Immanuel Evangelical and Reformed Church announces Sunday school at 10 o'clock with Christ Drefhall as superintendent and an Easter service with Communion at 11. The choir performs The King Eternal at 8 p m with a cantata by Iva D Wilson, featuring a long list of choir members and Mrs Hulda H Bassler as organist. Reverend Phil H Bassler invites all to attend and notes the church’s life ministry.
The Sandridge M E Church lists Easter events on April 21 including 9:15 morning worship and member reception, 10:30 Easter program by the Sunday school, and 7:30 service for the Woman's Home Mission Society. April 25 offers 3:30 religious instruction and 7:30 prayer meeting led by Pastor Leopold Schneider.
Bethany Reformed Church at 11th Place and Perry Avenue plans Easter Sunday services with Dr. Harry Hager preaching at 10:00 a.m. on The Resurrection Power. A 11:45 a.m. Sunday school program, 8:30 p.m. vesper with The Resurrection Faith, 7:30 p.m. Easter cantata by the Senior robed choir, and a Good Friday sermon on The Love of the Cross.
The Phoenix Gospel Mission in Sixth Ave announces a full Easter program. Sunday school at 11 a.m. includes special Easter service with Fishermen’s Club and choirs. At 6 p.m. Christian Endeavor and Easter sermon follow, led by Rev. Taylor and Orde Ethridge of Harvey.

Dalton Health Center in partnership with the Chicago Tuberculosis Institute launches the Early Diagnosis campaign titled Fight Tuberculosis with Modern Weapons. Miss Mabel Smith RN lists tuberculin skin test X-ray blood count and public health nurse as tools. treatments include lung rest and pneumothorax. The doctor is commander and the sanatorium headquarters serve as headquarters.
W. Ed. Claussen, vice president of Milbard Spencer Bartlett & Co, was nominated president of the Chicago Association of Credit Men by members at a Hotel La Salle gathering. Other officers nominated include L. F. Schroeder, George M. Groves, and Arthur B. Halvorsen, with the election set for May 15.
Public and parochial students engage in hands on projects including sand table play, nature study with earthworms, Easter egg crafts, and artwork featuring classmates. Honor rolls and perfect attendance are announced for March across rooms II and IV, with scouts and Red Cross activities noted along with upcoming cookie sales and training sessions.
