Riverdale sewer project proposed for West 138th Street area
A Riverdale Illinois local improvements board approves a connected tile sewer system with manholes and appurtenances along West 138th Street Wentworth avenue and adjacent alleys. The plan includes 15 and 12 inch pipe sections, 22 brick manholes, house connections, and a cost estimate totaling about 9 300 dollars with engineering and inspection fees. A public hearing is set for April 19, 1926, with notices to landowners abutting the project.
