Tequila Rain Performs at Santa Ana Star Casino Lounge

Sept 28 Tequila Rain, a Los Lunas band with a decade in the Southwest scene, plays the Cheetah Lounge at Santa Ana Star Casino from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. The group blends New Mex, Tejano, country, Latino, classic rock and oldies and has a strong Spanish market presence. No cover charge. The Idalia Road Marketplace hosts a farmers market Saturdays with Moriarty sweet corn, arts and crafts, food, and free kid face painting. Live music on Phil Mead Stage 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. featuring Greg Mellinger today and Glen Murata Trio Sunday. Esther Bone Memorial Library displays Landscape of the Southwest by 12 artists through Nov 6.

Gallery at Loma library hosts homegroup exhibit

Gallery on the Go artists without a home display oils and photography at Loma Colorado Main Library in a show curated by Mikki Roth. The exhibit runs during regular hours through Sept 28 and features Roth’s photographic works and Ivan Taylor’s landscape oil paintings, with prior shows at O'Hare's and upcoming at Albuquerque Little Theater.

Batman Live heads to Santa Ana Star Center in October

Batman Live comes to Santa Ana Star Center October 17 to 21 for eight performances with a 42 member cast. The new stage production features Batman, Robin, Alfred and classic villains in scenes from Gotham City to Arkham Asylum with a 105 foot bat shaped LED wall and a Batmobile.
