Burglary Reports Across City On Camping Trip And Home
DPS logs two thefts in separate homes including two rings and several guns valued over 1800 dollars from the 500 block of Arkansas Street while occupants were away on a camping trip. Another theft on Apache Loop involved 1398 dollars of electronic gear. A burglary in progress on Nicklaus Drive led to the arrest of 21 year old Tom Shaw of Rio Rancho. A separate incident on Littler Drive involved an intruder found on a bedroom floor and fleeing before identification.

Burglary Reports Linked to Western Hills Drive and Trevino Loop
On Sept 4 at 3 54 p m a resident on Western Hills Drive reported a burglary with about $2 000 in electronics including a turntable speakers and a video cassette recorder stolen. At 4 17 p m a Trevino Loop resident reported another burglary with two televisions a VCR and a video camera totaling over $2 300.
