New Mexico Wine Festival Draws 30000 as Crowds Enjoy Local Goods
Labor Day weekend crowds of about 30,000 packed the Bernalido Wine Festival showcasing 19 New Mexican wineries, regional crafts, and agricultural products. The festival featured music, dance by Ballet Folklorico Rio Grande, and art from local artists with families and visitors sampling wines, foods, and crafts in a festive, safe atmosphere.
