P Z approves subdivisions in Rio Rancho after moratorium
The Rio Rancho Planning and Zoning Commission approved three preliminary plats and one final plat for subdivisions last Tuesday, ending a two month moratorium prompted by July water shortages. Preliminary plats for River's Edge Units 2 and 2A and North Hills Unit 10, plus the final plat for North Hills Unit 7, were approved. North Hills Unit 9 boundary line dispute led to its agenda removal for clarification with AMREP Southwest.

Probation Judge Pleads Innocent In Sandoval County Raid
Sandoval County Probate Judge David Lucero pleaded innocent in district court after a Sept. 13 arrest on cocaine trafficking charges. He is free on a $10,000 bond and faces January trial in Judge Kenneth Brown's court. Several Bernalillo residents also pleaded innocent to trafficking, distributing methamphetamine, or marijuana charges.
