Rio Rancho District adopts volunteer policy and new textbook process
The Rio Rancho Public Schools Board approves a volunteer policy requiring site principals to oversee volunteers with background checks, restricts employees from volunteering for their own job type, and mandates written memos. The district will follow Health Department testing guidance with negative TB certificates kept on file. It also adopts a materials process inviting parents and community members to join textbook adoption committees.
