Joan Kellogg spoke on Albuquerque Crime Stoppers history and successes at the AARP Chapter 663 meeting held September 15 at the Meadowlark Senior Center. Chapter president Elaine Crawford urged volunteers for next year’s tax aid program with a training plan and coordinator. Rio Rancho needs at least eight volunteers. The second annual state AARP conference is set for October 24–26 in Las Cruces at the Hilton with room rates of 45 dollars per night.
