Route 66 boosters honor NM chapter founder’s tireless drive
The New Mexico Route 66 Association founder recalls organizing Town meetings in Tucumcari Santa Rosa Grants and Gallup with Albuquerque’s La Posada event featuring Michael Martin Murphey. The group earned a 2004 New Mexico Heritage Preservation Award for preserving neon signs and shaping a model preservation program. Snow, a longtime Tourism Hall of Fame member since 2000, reflects on family, health, and life after loss.
