Rio Rancho teen Amos eyes NASCAR drive for diversity
Rio Rancho resident Devon Amos 21 aims for NASCAR glory after high school. He raced mini sprints in New Mexico and Oklahoma, earned Rev Racing attention at a December driving school, and will compete at the Drive for Diversity Combine at Langley Speedway Hampton Virginia October 18 20. The three day event seeks top prospects for 2012 Rev Racing teams in NASCARs Drive for Diversity program. Amos balances work at Busy Bee Pest Control with training and prayerful focus, hoping to reach Daytona Brickyard 400 Darlington and Phoenix in time.
