Masciotti crafts wood fellas in Corrales Heights workshop
In Corrales Heights Richie Masciotti, 67, a former Rio Rancho street superintendent and boxing trainer, pursues whittling from a home workshop filled with carved ducks and other wooden figures. He began in 2012, scales new projects like restoring an old pickup, and notes arthritis from years of boxing and softball catching as he zones out while carving.
