Death of Rev Thomas Keane founder of St Thomas Church
Rev Thomas Keane, the founding pastor of St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, died Friday morning after a lengthy illness. A Memorial Mass will be held Friday at 7 p.m. at St Thomas with Archbishop Robert Sanchez presiding. Keane, born May 6, 1917 in London, served the Santa Fe archdiocese since 1965 and retired as St Thomas pastor in September 1982. He had been living at Montebello Retirement Community in Albuquerque.
