State bilingual song author visits Enchanted Hills school
Jessica McCann brought her great-grandfather Pablo Mares to Enchanted Hills Elementary as celebrity guest. Mares composed New Mexico official bilingual song in 1947 and now teaches, conducts, and volunteers while the Legislature honored him in 1994 for preserving state musical tradition.
