Red Ribbon Week Celebrated at Puesta del Sol School
Matthew Durkin reports Puesta del Sol Elementary marked Red Ribbon Week from October 22 to 29 with red ribbons and schoolwide activities led by Principal Mr. Juarez and staff to promote drug free choices. Fifth graders advised younger students and families created posters. Jemez Valley Schools ended events with Hands Across Jemez Valley to pledge a drug free community in New Mexico.

Audra Mowry of Rio Rancho has been appointed pledge educator of Phi Gamma Nu at Eastern New Mexico University. She already serves as secretary and treasurer and is a junior majoring in sociology with criminal justice emphasis and a business minor. She is also a sweetheart of Phi Kappa Psi.
