Shizuki Scraps Rio Rancho Plant Plan On Hold
American Shizuki Corporation has put its Rio Rancho electronics plant plans on hold amid internal production problems. Officials cited uncertain timing and unlikely expansion, with a decision expected possibly a year away. The Rin Rancha project previously targeted a January 1991 start, 15 acres and 110000 square feet of operations. ASC, based in Canoga Park, runs film capacitor manufacturing with facilities in Ogall Neb and Guadalajara, Mexico.
