Rio Rancho Memorial Day Parade Steps Off At 10 A M

The annual Rio Rancho City Memorial Day Parade begins at 10 a.m. Monday at Country Club Drive and Southern Boulevard. It proceeds east on Southern to Veterans Monument Park beside Esther Bone Memorial Library, ending at Pinetree Road. A remembrance ceremony follows near 10 a.m. The route closes sections of Country Club and Southern from Country Club to Pinetree and Pinetree to Oakmount Drive during the event.

Radio controlled flying club opens house at Wallen Field

The Rio Rancho Radio Control Flying Club invites the public to an open house Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Wallen Field off Rainbow Boulevard. Attendees can learn about airplanes helicopters and drones with food and drinks provided.
