Coors Bypass to use grade separated interchange near Alameda

Rio Rancho officials favor a grade separated interchange over a traffic signal for the Coors Bypass to connect with Alameda Boulevard. The $22 million project, funded by public and private sectors plus Intel and state support, aims to improve flow around Cottonwood Mall and avoid future road work for signals. Completion targets are August 1996 for Coors Bypass and January 1997 for the interchange.
