National Tourism Week celebrated in Sandoval County
Sandoval County proclaims May 7 through 13 as National Tourism Week highlighting tourism as a major economic force. The county reports 1993 NM tourism spending of 2.6 billion and 50 000 tourism jobs statewide, with 1994 Sandoval receipts at 3.4 million. A luncheon at The Inn at Rio Rancho honors Hospitality Employee of the Year Frederick Langguth and The Observer as Sandoval Business of the Year.
