Sandoval County proclaims May 7 to 13 as National Tourism Week. The observance highlights tourism's economic impact with 1993 NM tourist spending of 2.6 billion and 50 000 tourism jobs statewide. The Inn at Rio Rancho hosts a luncheon and honors Hospitality Employee of the Year Frederick Langguth and The Observer as County Business of the Year.
