A Navy Recruiting Officer invites about 200 outstanding college graduates to apply for the Nuclear Propulsion Program. The program offers a path to become a key member of the Navy’s nuclear fleet through detailed briefing and opportunity.
Rio Rancho Homeowner's Civic Association will host Sandoval County Extension Agent F L Marquez as the May 2 speaker. The rescheduled May 21 Home Security and Safety program moves to June to accommodate the gardening talk about lawn care landscaping and spring plantings for Rio Rancho residents. The meeting at The Auditorium on May 17 at 7 30 p m invites all residents.
The Rio Rancho Kindergarten Mathers will hold an organizational meeting on May 7 at The Auditorium in Rio Rancho at 8 pm. The effort aims to create a 4 year old kindergarten in Rio Rancho, as Corrales attendance ends with the new Rio Rancho Elementary School. Volunteers and donated toys will support the nursery school, which will emphasize starting social skills, supervised play, and group and individual activities.
