Rio Rancho library friends group fuels reading in town
The Friends of the Library of Rio Rancho grow library programs through book sales and shop operations. Volunteers number about 225 with a monthly luncheon and frequent sales pumping thousands into programs like Jiggle and Jam, STEM kits, and concerts. President Kris Axtell leads a largely senior, female volunteer body, with memberships at five dollars and regular Thursday sorting mornings at local bookshops.
