West Side Boys Club drive boosts Rio Rancho donations

Volunteers canvassed Rio Rancho homes for the West Side Boys Club last Saturday. The fundraiser left the club $20,000 in the black with more contributions trickling in. Organizers noted many homes were missed and urged donations by form mail or in person at the Chamber of Commerce in City Hall.

St Joseph Health Labs Merge to Form S E D Laboratory

A new unified laboratory named S E D Medical Laboratories will begin operations on April 1 after merging St Joseph Hospital and San Joseph West Mesa Hospital laboratories with S E D Laboratory. SJHC and S E D pathologists will own and govern it. S Victor Savino MD will be chief executive officer. The move aims to consolidate services, cut duplication, and strengthen Albuquerque and New Mexico care.
