Rio Rancho comics excel by Jay Levine Observer staff writer
Rio Rancho residents Weely Cordova and David Thomas pursue stand up comedy as a shared dream while balancing full time jobs. Cordova, a mid tier act, supports his family with earnings of 350 to 600 dollars weekly and hopes for a tour. He writes with help from his wife Irene and once auditioned for HBO but lost to Paul Rodriguez.
