Sauer dead at 70 private memorial in New Mexico

John C. Sauer aged 70 died Saturday at his Rio Rancho home. A private memorial was held Tuesday in the Sandia Mountains with simultaneous services in Florida and Tennessee. Born November 9, 1916 in Detroit he served in World War II, later worked as a senior aerospace technician with Rockwell International until 1981, and moved to Albuquerque in 1982. Pet Show Registration Opens at Rio Rancho Library

The third annual Children’s Pet Show sponsored by Friends of the Library will be held July 11 from 10 a.m. to noon at Haynes Park. Registration, $1, is at Rio Rancho Library 3900 Southern Blvd by July 1, with limits of thirty entrants per class.
