Stand-up Nights At The Stage And Library Book Sale

June 11 features Paul Hooper and Carlos Valencia with A J Martinez at The Stage in Santa Ana Star Casino. Hooper tours 40 states and 10 countries and headlines comedy festivals. Vista Grande 55 active community reschedules patio sale

The Vista Grande Retirement Center hosts the fifth annual patio sale from a.m. to noon at 4101 Meadowlark Lane with a farmers market featuring local Rio Rancho honey Santo Domingo bread fresh eggs tomatoes and starter plants and trees. Also on offer are arts crafts and live music by David McCulloch on Sunday plus Geo's Mobile Bistro serving food both days free admission.

Sunday music lineup at Haynes Park announced

The City of Rio Rancho Parks Recreation and Community Services Department invites residents to enjoy performances by popular local music acts at Haynes Park on a Sunday. The event aims to showcase area talent and provide community entertainment in a public outdoor setting.

Summer Sunday concerts at Rotary Park 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Free live music returns June to August on Sunday nights at the Rotary Club Barbecue Pavilion in the park. Acts include New Horizons Band, Little Hawk, The Hit Squad, Roger Jameson & Jaded Heart Band, and more with weather cancellations possible. Attendees urged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and picnics.

Pueblo Byways art at Coronado site resumes show

Ongoing Native American art from the Dorothy Dunn collection titled Pueblo Byways returns to Coronado Historic Site after a construction hiatus. It features works by Vidal Casiquito Jr. Gilbert Atencio Pablita Velarde and Velino Shije Herrera among others, with hours 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except Tuesday.

Fourth of July Parade and Firework Show Planned in Rio Rancho

Rio Rancho sets July 4 events with a 10 am Independence Day parade along Southern Boulevard from Country Club Drive to Pinetree Road, entry fee 15 dollars, registration due June 29 online or in person. Bike prizes in three age groups, helmet rule, and a 239th Declaration of Independence ceremony follow at Veterans Monument Park. An 9 pm fireworks show at Loma Colorado Park costs free admission with five dollar parking benefiting local boosters. Xeric Garden Club hosts a free habitat garden tour July 6 at Albuquerque Garden Center with family activities and crafts.

Camila to Headline Santa Ana Star Center Concert

Three time Grammy winner Camila performs at Santa Ana Star Center at 7 p.m. on Wednesday July 23 with special guests Los Hollywood and The Trykes. The group rose to fame after 2005 debut with Todo Cambio and Dejarte de Amar propelled by Mario Domm and collaborators Pablo Hurtado Samo.
