Longtime Bernalillo educators retire after decades of service
Tom Montoya led 28 years in the district across middle and high schools while Marie Garcia also served 28 years at Carroll Elementary. Sally Bay counted 21 years with Bernalillo Middle School, Sheryl Hilliard 20 years at Santo Domingo, and librarian Charles Rushton 20 years overall. Other retirees include Jerry Nieto, Christine Sedillo, Mary Louise Senna, and custodian Felix Archibeque.
