Mueller sells Inn Rio Rancho landmark changes hands
Harald Mueller, longtime operator of The Inn at Rio Rancho, sold the 80 year 60 meter hotel last Friday after 14 years of ownership. The new owners, American Property Management Co., plan to keep Best Western affiliation and maintain the Inn’s name and service levels while Mueller shifts toward larger hotel investments in Colorado and Dallas.

Southern Boulevard slated for widening in Rio Rancho
Public works director Jerry Fossenier says Southern Boulevard from Tarpon Avenue to 5th Street will be widened this summer. The project adds a double left turn lane near NM 528 and right turn merge lanes at all approaches. Medians will be built from NM 528 to 38th Street and a traffic signal will be added at Southern and Rio Rancho City Hall west parking lot to reduce congestion.
