Restoration near for 2926 steam locomotive in New Mexico
Volunteers expect Locomotive 2926 to be revived by 2016 after 12 years of work and nearly two million dollars in support. Built in 1944 by Baldwin, the 4 4 wheel configuration engine logged a million miles across the Southwest and sits in Albuquerque awaiting excursions once fully restored.
