Evonna and Gab Joiner completed the 4,500 mile Great North American Race from Ottawa to Mexico City in a Marmon 417, finishing first in the novice division and fifth in the prewar class. They earned $4,000 cash, a trophy, and five plaques while enduring 15 days on backroads under strict speed and time regulations with support crews aiding hotels and logistics. ESPN will air a feature on August 6.
