Rio Rancho pools push for Platinum safety award
Rio Rancho pools Rainbow and Haynes Park posted 101 percent July audits and 100 percent in June under the oversight of Stan Ford and aquatics director Roger Henson. They aim for the Jeff Ellis and Associates Platinum award by Aug. 13, testing guards, equipment, and training with unannounced audits. A pilot program adds blood-borne pathogen kits and new 60 percent oxygen rescue units, costing about $900 each.
